Whoever downvoted Chris Kyle is a POS commie bastard.

Honestly, though, I’d probably vote for Sam Houston.

Sam Houston was from Virginia.

It was actually "do right and risk the consequences." He also owned slaves and was instrumental in the Trail of Tears, so there's that.

Was waiting for someone to say Sam Houston.

He was governor of TN, president of Texas, state senator of Texas.

Oh and commander of the Texas army.


He lived a full life.
