And Missouri/A&M had frick all to do with it.
Nor did Texas but for that few good years. It was basically the Nebraska show and then that transitioned to the Oklahoma show.
The Horns have as many Big 12 football titles as K-State and Baylor and you were last in the Big 12 title game during the George Bush Administration.
No one has really paid attention to the conference for the past 7-8 years.

We won 10+ games for nine straight years.
You have a grand total of twelve 10 win seasons in 120 years of football.

Nebraska won a national title in 1997 plus 2 Big 12 titles. Texas won a title in 2005, played for another in 2009, and won 3 Big 12 titles, but it was "basically the Nebraska show." Okay.

So winning a Natty in 05’ and playing a competitive one in 09’ had nothing to do with the success of the the BIG XII? The BIG XII fell apart when A&M, Mizzou, and Colorado left, it was all downhill from there.

I am by no means a Longhorn apologist, but they went to the Big 12 CG in 09(Obama) and 18(Trump).
