about auburn? they've won, what 5? 6? in a row. its an enormous rivalry, one in which season records dont mean shite. i know auburn is terrible this year but they played a little better against georgia. you cant overlook these types of games. i'll hang up and listen(always wanted to say that on a message board)

It's a rivalry game and I'm scared shitless! 1 game at a time and this is a beast. Fick the SEC game at this point, we nned to focus on AU. IT"S THE IRON BOWL FOR GOD'S SAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alabama has had some tough wins this year, their lone truly impressive win is over Georgia, which doesn't seem AS impressive anymore, because Florida really exposed Georgia. It's definately possible for Auburn to pull it off, but I don't see it happening, and for the sake of the SEC I don't want it to happen.

I think it will be a tough, hard fought game. I think Bama ain't overlookin em either. They have this one circled just like Lsu and Miss. St. I think they are playing off the Bama ain't no good this year crap too. I think it'll be close going into the 2nd half then we pull away for a comfortable win.

they have won 6 in a row. and yeah the iron bowl has always been a good game, but no doubt alabama is gonna take it this year. tubby should be fearing the thumb this go around. this year auburn just doesnt have the players to beat them.

Bama is actually better than Auburn this year, so they've got that going for them. That hasn't been the case recently.
They're also very disciplined (or very favored by SEC officiating crews, or both!). They won't hurt themselves with penalties in most games.
Auburn can play fast and loose, they have NOTHING to lose except for maybe Tubby's job, and that may already be gone.
Unless Alabama comes out real tight and starts making uncharacteristic mistakes, and Burns all of a sudden becomes Auburn's most prolific passer evarrr...

Heck yes we're worried about Auburn. The Iron Bowl is the biggest game of the year for Bama. Auburn will bring its A game and we'll have to be prepared for a war.

Like all Alabama Fans..We Never Take Auburn Lightly. They Can Be 1-10 and still beat us. Saban has been preaching to the team all year "Never Underestimate Your Opponent...Respect Them" I Believe The 6 year Drought will be over this year. Alabama cannot pussy-Foot around with them until the 4Th Qtr.We Gotta come out smash-Mouth from the Get Go to take them and their fans out of the Game. Bama Has Too much to lose this year if We Let Them Get Us Again.

The favored team wins this game over 90% of the time. I hope BAMA wins the game and then shifts their focus to Florida.

Bingo! You pegged me head on. Deep down, I just don't see how Auburn can pull it off. The streak/fear effect doesn't bother me at all this year.
I do realize that if La.Mo can beat us last year, and if Stanford can beat USC like last year, and inspite of COUNTLESS other examples like these.....then Auburn COULD beat us. It's a game with 22 chess pieces in action on every play. TONS of things COULD happen. And although we may or may not be better than every team in the NCAA this year, almost every stat or average that we have this year is better than Auburn in every way.
So confident yes. Respectful of this rivalry, ABSOLUTELY. Nothing like being beaten 6 times in a row in the world's sickest rivalry that will humble you more. Hence the WISH to remain not arrogant. Arrogance is just an unfortunate side-effect from tons and tons of winning, and I wish it NEVER took hold in people... humility is a good thing.

yes, LSU has beaten auburn twice in a row. BAMA can basically go shove their 46 national titles up their arse.
