Cam couldnt touch Joe B. With a 15’ pole. Cam was larger than life athlete. Joe B. ls literally the best College QB to ever play the game.

Come on man, he was a great QB and good for your school but be honest man. He had a great second year but his 1st year at LSU was average at best and even LSU fans will admit to that.

So, you think Joe B would have won the 2010 championship at AU?

Joe B was amazing but Cam would make a less talented team look good more so than Burrow could have imo.

We've had this discussion before. I'm not going to go back and redo the research I did then, but you should take a look at NC winners over the past decade or two and compare how many players were drafted from each team in the three years following their championships. Auburn 2010 doesn't just stand out like a sore thumb - it is absolutely ridiculous how few players off of that team were NFL-caliber. LSU 2019, on the other hand, is up there with a couple of Bama teams as the most laden with pro-quality players.

Burrow had a great year in 2019 but he had perhaps the best receiver corps in college football history to throw to. Newton took a team full of also-rans and carried them to a championship more or less by himself. I hate Auburn with the fire of ten thousand suns but Newton is the best QB ever to play the college game and I'm not sure it's particularly close.
