It’s the offseason, and it’s way too early, but shoot your shot.

#12 X
at #5 Alabama

Winner plays #4 Kansas State (Big 12 Champ)

#9 FSU
at #8 Michigan

Winner plays #1 Georgia (SEC Champ)

#11 USC
at #6 Texas

Winner plays #3 Clemson (ACC Champ)

#10 Notre Dame
at #7 LSU

Winner plays #2 Ohio State (B1G Champ)

4 SEC
3 B1G
2 ACC
1 Big 12
1 Independent
1 X (group of 5? PAC?, wildcard?)

That #5 spot sure is nice
Game 1 hosting worst playoff team
Game 2 vs worst conference champ

Yes, you probably have to play #1 at that point, but that’s a nice draw, and the #5 likely makes the final 4 a lot.

INB4 Texas ain’t making the playoff.

Pretty ridiculous to predict any sort of playoff with two full regular seasons between now and the actual games.

haha we will probably be better in 2023 than 2024 as we are going to lose a lot this year in the draft. We could have as many as 15 get drafted if they all leave early.

No one here will believe that, but we are honestly stacked this year. TBD if that turns into wins.

2024 will be a lot harder for us

exactly.. we are actually developing talent now, that is the difference

Draft Eligible next year

Offense
Worthy
Sanders
Ewers
AD
Neyor
Jones

Defense
Barron
Ford
Sweat
Catalon
Watts
Sorrell

That’s 12 that should get drafted. Some of them do have injury concerns though, so that means they might be back in 2024. These are also guys that could get drafted with a good year.

Brooks
Whittington
Murphy
Collins
Thompson
Holmes

the good news.. our two deep on OL should all be back except for Jones

Isn’t that the record for most players drafted by a single school?

Are all Texas fans as absolutely delusional as the ones on here?

LSU could win every title for the next 100 years and your parents still wouldn't love you.

yes, and I don’t think we will have 15 drafted, just sayIng that we are going to lose a lot of talent after this year.

8-10 would be my guess as of right now if they stay healthy this year

I call it like it I see it. Perhaps that will turn out to be delusional, but Texas has a lot of NFL talent on the roster this year. That is very different than the past 10 years.

Like I said, they may not translate into Wins.

Anyways, does anyone else think the #5 seed is a pretty nice draw?

Call it like you see it? You’re averaging not even 7 wins a year the last 3 years and you think you’ll have more draft picks than any team in history?

Absolute delusion.

You need to work on your reading comprehension skills. I said 8-10 is more likely, but 15 is possible. I also said tbd how many games we win despite all that talent.

I may be delusional. but I’d rather be delusional than a complete dumbass like you.
