Average NFL TE is 6'4.5 and 248.65 lbs. (25% are 6'6 or taller)

There are currently 4 TEs on NFL rosters under 230 lbs.

So, Bowers' size isn't unheard of...but he will be in the lower quadrant of TE's in weight and just average in height.

Yes.

Which is why I think you'll see him go to a team that already has a bigger TE.

LSU would be unstoppable this year running 12 personnel with Bowers and Taylor.

He's in the lower quadrant of NFL TE's in weight... as a sophomore in college.

The reality is he'll be more like 235-240 at the combine and none of this will matter. He'll probably play most of his career at 240-245 in the NFL. Many slightly undersized guys end up with 10 pounds of muscle added after a year in the NFL.
