Halfway through the season I didn’t think there was any way we would make it to Omaha.

Just goes to show, it’s not always the most talented team, but matchups, brackets and a little luck.

I questioned whether we would make Hoover after getting swept by Missouri. They turned into a late-season team, Atlanta Braves style.

If you think Tenner isn’t one of the eight most talented teams in the country, you’re clueless. It’s the deepest and most talented pitching staff in the country. Vitello deserves credit for righting the ship when it went wrong; but the fact that it went as wrong as it did was surprising.
