Stubhub doesn't have any tix up right now to check prices, but for those of you who have made this trip, what would you expect the ticket prices to be, what would you recommend, where to stay, all that shite. I have never been to Nashville. Two 40 yo's and an 8yo.

Tickets usually easy. Stay at the Marriott Vanderbilt. It overlooks the stadium.

Tickets have never been a problem. Just hope game doesn’t align with a big conference or concert. Book early.

There is a Residence Inn music row that would work great for kids.

About 4 years ago vandy realized they were way, way behind on ticket prices compared to the rest of the league and half their stadium is bought by visitors anyway. So to make up for lost time they decided to skyrocket themsleves to being one of the most expensive. 2019 face was $115 and 2021 face was a few bucks more than that I think. So if you see people asking for around $120 per ticket, don't automatically think they're gouging scumbags since unforauntely that's abotu what face is these days. Howver, as always I'd imagine if you are mentally comfortable enough just waiting until a day or two before game time some dawg fan onlin somehwere will likely have some to sell for less, and on gameday around the satdium maybe even better odds.

As mentiond the BEST place to stay is in that hotel directly adjoining the stadium. That's also where the main big dawg tailgate will be and it'll pretty much be all GA people over the whole lot. last time I went the rest of our crew stayed in that hotel but my wife and I stayed at a nice little air bnb like a half mile down the road for half the price and just walked over that morning. I imagine the stadium hotel was fully booked like 6 months ago but who knows. I also imagine it'll be pretty pricey.

I always just show up and get tickets. 3 is a weird number, though.

That game barely registers any traffic. You can stay wherever and just take an Uber.

Hate giving Tenn any credit but Nashville is an excellent city. Great restaurants. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised but I was impressed with all the talented live music. Even early in the hotel bar a couple guys playing guitar and singing were really good.

We went in 2017. There was some convention going on in town. The cheapest hotel in downtown or Vandy area was like 400 a night. We found an Airbnb that was a total nightmare. It's a shame that we will only play in Nashville like once every 8 years after next year. That game has really become a popular road game for Dawg fans. Hitting up Hattie B's and Broadway are a blast. The food at Vandy stadium is also really good. I'm going to have to find another excuse to road trip to Nashville every few years. Fun town.

uhhh

even in the worst case scenario (1 perm/8 total model) we'll still play every other SEC team every other year.

ok, so I guess every 4 years we get a road trip to Nashville. I really haven't done the math.

I usually buy 4, gives a little extra space to set down your nachos and pour liquor in your coke.

Does Nashville have shuttles and buses and whatnot to get people from vandy to and from the tourist stuff, like savannah does?

Residence Inn has an option for a bedroom and a living area with a pull out couch for the little one so you can have a room to yourself for a little sexy time. I think there is a pool at that one too. There is a good Italian spot by it and Hattie B’s. Long but doable walk to the stadium. Really long walk to the main Broadway area and on that walk you will encounter bums, tramps, rascals, people doing heroin and people trying to earn enough money to buy heroin. I honestly wouldn’t bring my kid to Broadway…especially at night. Since Birdcloud broke up, I don’t have much reason to go there unless I’m going to Ruby’s or some of the other fancy eateries.

Tickets are up on Stubhub. You just can’t search “UGA or UGA football”

Here is the link to Stubhub for tickets
Link should be for 3 tickets together

And if you don't feel like driving Vonlane does round trips from ATL to Nashville.
Round trip is about $280 and includes food and booze.

Get the Memphis style ribs. And get there early. That place blows up.

I’ve had the pulled pork sandwich and it was top shelf. The fancy bread /bun is somehow the key. The whole thing melts in your mouth without you ever even having to chew very much

I’ve also had the bbq nachos but got them on top of fries instead of nacho chips. Next level sons

Also one of the owner’s old prosthetic legs sits on the counter right where you pick up your food
