Is the "Bear Bryant Curse" a thing, and should it?

The curse being no one will win more NCs at Alabama than Bear Bryant. Seems like everything has been going downhill at Bama ever since Saban won his 6th - the same amount as BB. Discuss.

I'd be seriously worried about any curse Lincoln Riley left in Norman.

This is honestly one of the sillier things ive read on here.
I am sure Bama fans would be plenty happy if any coach they had won "only" 6 titles because of a BB curse

Two seasons have passed. 24-4 since then. One conference title. Multiple top ranked classes. What a downhill slope.

I thought the Bear Bryant curse was on Kentucky. It has been openly speculated upon here. The. Bear took UK to the Sugar, Cotton and Orange Bowls. We have never been back.

Oh no. Only six national championships won by a coach in the span of a decade and a half? Whatever will we do?
