If there’s one thing I’ve ever noticed about coaches that beay Nick Saban like one time, they always got beat by like 80 points in the past and squeaked out a win at home to get their victory.

Anytime Alabama beats LSU they get squashed, but if LSU beats Alabama it’s always within a touchdown.

32-31
46-41
24-20 (I think?)
41-34
9-6

And that’s just in the Saban years.

I bet he loved his first beer and piece of arse too. For a coach, beating Alabama for the first time has to be right up there with those important milestones in life.

Just off the top of my head, both Sumlin and Orgeron won in Tuscaloosa. I believe Freeze did too.

That's because back in the early 70s Coach Bryant finally told BAMA fans what was going on. Turns out the IRS told coach Bryant that he was going to have to start paying property tax on tiger stadium.

If LSU doesn't have a winning record at Bryant Denny, it's damn close

I went back to 1962 in this rivalry and the Coach Bryant vs Cholly Mac era.

Look it up, Einstein.

Really?

I can think of some bad LSU teams that took Alabama to the wire recently.

2021 - Alabama wins 20-14
2016 - Alabama wins 10-0
2014 - Alabama wins in OT
2012 - Alabama wins 21-17
2008 - Alabama wins in OT

Did you say squashed?

2006 - LSU wins 28-14
2004 - LSU wins 26-10
2003 - LSU wins 27-3
2001 - LSU wins 35-21
1997 - LSU wins 27-0

We started playing there every other year in 1988, and yes, we win there more than they do.

Alabama is 10-9-0 vs LSU at B-D stadium, with an average score of 21.6 - 18.5.

LSU played BAMA every year since 1964. Tuscaloosa or B'ham the quest was exactly the same.

If anyone of here didn't like the college environment and didn't like beating Bama they wouldn't be on this board. It would just be Bama fans.

Bama should take this as a compliment

Kelly has only been at LSU 1 year.

Yet he's played against Kirby 3 times and lost all 3. The most recent beat down allowing 50 points.

He actually was further from beating Kirby by moving to a school with more talent. Weird.

Jimbo hasn't won the West yet and I don't think he ever will. It will be between Bama and LSU for the next decade
