Sounds like Dabo is just wants the best for his players. If a scout is told something by Dabo and they believe it and don't do their homework then that's on them. It's not his job to scout for them.

You know nothing about Dabo do you. This has nothing to do with the players it's all about him. Pumping up the players, in his mind, is pumping him up as a Great coach and talent evaluator. Having to admit a players faults is damaging to his ego.
