According to you, every other team in the NFC south is terrible and the Falcons completely whiffed on this draft and don’t have a clue. So this makes it automatic the Falcons win the division?

They have the best roster in the division. Drafting a RB in the first round has nothing to do with that. I really like a lot of the free agent moves on defense. I expect the pass rush to be significantly better.

There are a few commonalities between all of the most recent Super Bowl winners:

1. None of them had QBs making top flight money except for Kansas City last season, and that's only because Mahomes is a unicorn.

2. None of them used significant resources on a RB except for Kansas City spending a 1st round pick on Clyde Edwards-Helaire, who watched their entire Super Bowl run from the bench while a 7th round rookie and a former Georgia Southern QB split backfield duties.

3. They all had great pass rushes.

Maybe. I'm not sure they're roster is better than New Orleans. Tampa, yes, and Carolina, yes.

I would tend to agree with you on this statement, except that Robinson is considered a game changing, franchise lifting type prospect. The Falcons are betting on this, which is why they drafted him that high. It's not like they drafted Kenny McIntosh with the 8th pick. If they're wrong, it'll be their arse. If not, then the pick will have been worth it.
