This seems odd since Bennett threw for 4,000+ yards and a 68.3% completion rate. Those stats would be off the charts in UT fans head for Milton, yet sub par for a Georgia QB. You can't make this up.

Bennett was a 250 yards a game that played for the only team that he could be successful with. 270ish yards a game 3 to 1 TD to Int isn’t very impressive in todays game. 20 years ago would have been but by comparison, Hooker was just a few yards under 300 yards a came (expectations would be over 300 yards if he plays more than 10.5 games) 13.5 TDs to INTs with a better completion rate. And Hooker has the size and arm to play at the next level. Milton more so.

Hooker will make a nice scout team qb in the NFL. He will journey around for 3-4 years before calling it quits.

Milton's two starts in '22:

147 yds vs Vandy
251 yds vs Clemson

Avg yards per game - 199 yards per game

Not very good by your chosen metric used to bash Stetson.

When you consider he was a 175 yards per first half Qb, what does this tell you about his usage in second halves?

And yet you didn't like our RBs, QB or WRs. How was he successful with all that dead weight around him?

And he actually had a bigger single year than any Tennessee QB in their history?

SmokeyOne: Georgia won because of their defense.

UGA Fans: Bennett threw for more yards than any UT QB in their history, though!

SmokeyOne: That's because of all the talent he had around him....on defense.

You can't make this up.
