He can throw it through a brick wall that’s for sure.

The accuracy issue in his 1st year at Tennessee was a product of coming in for summer and not having the WR relationship. In Heupels system QBs and WRs need to see and react to the same keys and without spring camp and the offseason that relationship just wasn’t there. And the fact he threw full speed when he was nervous didn’t help.
In year 2 he had a respectable 65% completion rate in mop up duty and in the only game he was set as a starter with a game plan built to him he completed 68% of his passes in a convincing win against a decent defense.

He has never been a running threat and likely never will be, and Huepel likely will not ask him to do designed runs. It’s not a balance issue but rather a mindset issue. But that’s ok because Tennessee has something it hasn’t seen in a long time….RB depth.

But I get it, UGA fans are unfamiliar with decent much less good QB play. So I can see how these things would leave y’all bewildered.

This seems odd since Bennett threw for 4,000+ yards and a 68.3% completion rate. Those stats would be off the charts in UT fans head for Milton, yet sub par for a Georgia QB. You can't make this up.

Honest question. If Milton throws for 68.3% and over 4,000 yards what do you think Tennessee's record will be? Your trope was always Bennett was bad and we survived on our defense. Tennessee does not have a very good defense.

The hoops you jump through to make yourself feel better.

Hilarious. This kind of double standard, hypocritical contradiction is why you try so hard to avoid real football discussion , but you just can’t help yourself.

You're leaving out his actual first start in '22 where he went 11/21 (52.4%) for only 147 yards against lowly Vandy.

Milton will do very well against a lot of teams this year, but he's going to struggle against defenses with a pulse.

He's got ELITE arm strength and can make throws look easy that other QBs can't even attempt. With that being said, he's a thrower and not a quarterback. He lacks the ability to be accurate on a consistent basis and he's unable to process what he's seeing fast enough to take that next step. He's Anthony Richardson without the running ability.

Dude, I can’t tell if you are trolling or serious. You have some incredibly bad takes. You champion Milton’s completion percentage on one meaningless game, yet knock Bennett for a higher completion percentage over the course of an entire season.

FYI, Bowers accounted for 22% of Georgia’s receiving yards last year. Hardly the entire offense.

The mental gymnastics required to attribute Georgia’s explosive offense to their defense is quite impressive.

Imagine if the defense sucked. Bennett would have thrown for 8500 yards apparently.
