Our playoffs for football (college and NFL) and basketball seriously needs fixing.
The only playoff format that gets it right is the NBA.

MLB used to get it right but not any longer. There's way too many teams in the playoffs.
NBA has too many teams in but the way they do series almost always eliminates the shite teams. So I consider that commendable. Give the people what they think they want and then prove to them that people as a whole are idiots.

What’s wrong with the format? Everyone needs 6 wins for the title. FAU got 4 wins which was something no one else in the East (including Ky, Tenn, Duke, Marquette) couldn’t do. Bama had the easiest possible path to the final on Monday night but choked it away.
