Respectfully. Attending away games will answer your question

Respectfully, you’re wrong. Fans only see the stadiums. Stadiums are merely a very small peek of the actual facilities athletes use.

How many visiting fans get the opportunity to take a tour of football operations & nutrition centers? Inside practice facility? Weight rooms? Athlete condominium’s? Etc etc

These are the things players are looking at when deciding on where they attend school, not the stadiums so much.

My understanding about LSU, everything is top-notch except basketball, which is overall just average P5 level stuff.

I would assume there will be a push to improve on that front, considering they now have Mulkey and McMahon. Mulkey will have a perennial Elite-8 level WBB team and get publicity, and McMahon has a longterm contract and will need resources to rebuild the men's program.

Like someone else said, you wonder how much the NIL deals will shift money away. If you have to pay the basketball team 1-2 mil annually, do those same money guys cut back on donating to the schools? I think so.
