That's great and all but it's currently basketball season. And next comes baseball season. Try and keep up.

Are there any rules? I have watched a bunch of basketball over the years from high school to the NBA and at any level its played basketball has about as many rules as professional wrestling. The main rule is that the outcome is scripted...the officials are there to make certain that either the prettiest team wins or the one that is the most compelling. Basketball as its base level is about as good as sports get...blacktop basketball, pickup basketball...all fantastic....but once it is organized it is nothing more than a beauty contest and the outcome has nothing to do with talent or scheme but is all based on which team is the prettiest or which outcome is the most compelling and then the "officials" direct the action to ensure the proper contest. Why so many people waste so much time watching pro wrestling where part of the action includes dribbling and shooting a basketball is beyond me. I had Hawks season tickets for years but I eventually realized that the entirety of basketball is as bad or worse than wrestling....

I am a UGA fan and I know full well that basketball is meaningful to a lot of people. Pro wrestling is also. The only difference between the 2 is wrestling scripts outcomes and then, with a wink, denies it. Basketball pretends it real....The NCAA Tournament is the first and most successful reality television show ever. If you are into that sort of thing enjoy it. Who knows, UGA may someday become the prettiest program or have a compelling enough story for the NCAA to write them in as the star of the show. There is no real competition in either pro wrestling or basketball at any level beyond pick up games and the like where there are no officials and no organization. Every rule in basketball is subjective. No need to explain that to an adult...it is all in the eye of the beholder.
