Kentucky fans view Bama under Oats how Bama fans viewed Ole Miss under Freeze.
It’s an exciting offense that’s attracting recruits that usually go there. They’ve been uncomfortable since he got here. His name pops up as a cal replacement on their 247 boards. They know he can coach and he’s obviously young. They’re very much threatened by him. Same can be said for Muss and Arkansas

Kentucky fans generally enjoy having actual competition in the SEC. Florida, Tennessee, and Arkansas have all consistently over the years been competition in the SEC. Two of those programs have won NCs as well in MBB. We're not "threatened" anymore than you all were "threatened" by Freeze at Ole Miss (and now at Auburn). Both fanbases are well aware of the success of the respective programs and know that didn't happen in a vacuum.
Would Oats have been on the short list if Cal was fired/left? Sure. He's a fantastic coach. But so was Beard until he fricked up. They've both managed to work themselves off that list.

Brandon Miller is also Chicken. He's only playing basketball at Alabama and making questionable decisions to drive traffic to this site.
