Nothing to see here

In fairness, I had a bullet hole in my car from some rednecks that shot out of their house at random. Could've killed me if I had been driving slower.

But yeah, given everything else. He was involved.

that is his side of the story. there needs to be an investigation and miller needs to be suspended until he is cleared

You’ll be happy to know that all of that has already happened.

Brandon Miller was driving to pick up Miles when Miles texted that he needed his gun. Brandon didn’t even know the gun was in the car and likely didn’t even see the text.

So now defense attorneys tell the truth?

Dude, it's a fair point.

If there was a verifiable way to show he'd not received the text about the gun when he arrived with the gun it would be pretty inexplicable for a crim defense attorney not to say so if he's releasing this timeline.

As it is he's dancing around that. Honestly, even if that was the position (he didn't receive it) but they couldn't prove it, I imagine they'd still make that contention in the statement. Him not doing so probably means his attorneys either don't know whether they can trust the claim he didn't receive it (and thus it's subject to being disproven) or they know he did receive it.

Or the timing of the text messages and security footage from restaurants, University Blvd, and Miller's car did all the investigating necessary

That narrative is clearly evidenced by the prosecuting attorney declining to charge him with a crime, and the University of Alabama taking no disciplinary action.

I wish the various video and audio recordings, together with a full transcript of the text messages could/would be released.

The only thing the statement really adds, and it isn’t inconsequential, is the claim that Miller’s car arrived and parked before the victims Jeep. If that parking is in a pretty normal/routine way and not in a way to intentionally block a pathway for the victims vehicle, that’s key.

I wonder if the reference to blocking the street was more directed at Bradley’s auto or just a poorly worded statement from the detective.

Why does Brandon Miller need a defense attorney if he hasn't been charged with anything?

This is the only full timeline regarding Miller’s involvement that we’ve been given to this point, and aligns perfectly with there being no charges filed against him and no disciplinary action taken by the university.
THEN WHY DID HE RETAIN AN Attorney?

Innocent people totally keep lawyers on retainer; especially 20 year old college freshman.

Because he was involved in events that led to a murder. It would be really dumb not to have legal counsel in his position.
