Yep you shouldn't be ranked at all with that schedule and 4 quad 4 losses.

The fact is that A&M being unranked is more of an insult to the SEC than it is to A&M.
Losses in November carry more weight than sweeping teams like Auburn and Arkansas this spring.
No one is all that impressed with our conference record. All we can do is win the conference games we play. If that schedule is weak, that's on you guys.

Do you know what sweeping a team means?

Misspoke. Screw me.
Point still stands. Being a game out of first in this league isn't impressing many pollsters.
Feel better?

Tell Buzz to do a better job scheduling? A bad nonconference is always going to hurt you no matter what league (except maybe the Big 12 this year). Its a big reason why they didn't make it last year.

I don't feel any different

You did unless 2 moved up. 2 is just as bad.

A big ten team with our resume and 12-2 in the big ten would be ranked a top ten team and suddenly all those early season loses are due to “growing pains” or “it’s not the same team”, it’s only A&M that never gets this benefit

So buzz was supposed to know two years ago that the swamp rats would hire Murray states entire team?

You're not wrong.

I don't know where you got this from but this isn't the case, they don't even have any Q3 losses

To have a real conversation, I agree about scheduling but when entire teams are swapped out yearly, I don’t know how you can be expected to know what your opponent two years from now will be.

Me too
What you said just doesn't make a ton of sense. If the nonconference was just a few games you might have a point.

This is an easy answer, you can protect yourself by scheduling more games against teams in good conferences. You are less likely to have a decent/good opponent that has their numbers tank during their respective conference play.
Something else to consider, even in the Summer when alot of teams already have most of their roster filled, there are still games being scheduled. This isn't like football.
