Thanks, fun group. March is a crapshoot but it's as deep, talented and tough a team as we've had in my lifetime. Nice honor for them.

Did not expect that but it makes sense. We've played a much tougher schedule than Houston and beat them at their place

Well Bama's got to carry the banner...not much else going on hoops wise in the SEC. Will be pulling for the Tide as we don't have a dawg in that fight

Houston is obviously very good, but Alabama has been excellent since the loss to Oklahoma against superior competition to what the Cougars have played. Similar logic to what kept Purdue at #1 after losing to Indiana, which was fair, is why Alabama being #1 just makes sense.

There have been many times over the years where I thought Alabama Basketball would never be close to #1 again, so this is pretty cool.
