"Our team is playing good basketball right now," Auburn coach Bruce Pearl said after the loss to Alabama. "We're playing well. We're just not playing well enough to beat the best team in the country."

Your Super Bowl in which you were approaching 30 free throw attempts.

On a given day this team can beat anyone..but I don't think they win it all.

Big strong post players hurt them too much and catch a couple of perimeter guys hot at the same time and it's tough.

Alabama's talent, size and depth can win against any team in the country, but their (and the coach's) head has got to be right. When they're on top of their game defensively, and are shooting the ball well, they'll beat anybody in the country.
PS- Pearl's trying to screw with their heads with that comment...reminds me of Coach Bryant.

Like yesterday? Maybe like the Houston game?

Take a closer look at your team, it's the BAMA style of play that's giving everyone else fits.

What game did you watch? Bama pulled away at the end.

Rylen Griffen, a true freshman bench player, blocked Wendell Green so convincingly that the whole Auburn team gave up with a minute left. They put up a pretty good fight but that play broke their will.

I didn't say it was impressive. I said it was convincing and that it signaled the end for Auburn. They have midget guards and will only get so far with them.

In basketball, not all blocks are created equal. Some have a greater effect than others. This one was a back breaker.
