Are 9pm tipoffs here to stay?

I’m getting old and I have a one year old to get up with in the morning, these late tips on weeknights are a killer!
It seems like it would be in everyone’s best interest to start them earlier. Networks, schools and fans would be better off. Even a half hour would make a big difference.

The college sports Sedona are short, I try to enjoy them while I can before the drought of summer.

I live in central, 8 is still too late to start, especially with how long games are now with all the reviews and commercials.

Wish it was that easy, I tried really hard not to watch the game last night but couldn’t stay away. I don’t remember having starts this late before the SEC Network.

Because the weren't televised. Sorry you're able to watch all games now.

I agree.
Years ago all of State’s games started at 730P Central Time unless an occasional Saturday game was in the afternoon.
It was a perfect time. Out of town people could get to Campus after work. Games were usually over by 915P so you could get home at a decent time. Even if you were a couple of hours away.
8P games last 2+ hours now or longer. What used to be getting home around 11P is now well after midnight.
Big difference. Makes it tough for fans today.

Yea they suck. As a fan of a western division team (yea I know no divisions but it falls on these lines) living in the EST, we get almost all 9 PM tips on Wednesday nights. It's the devil.
