The most dangerous QB in America? He's a real danger alright...a danger to the Tide's chances of winning another championship of any sort anytime soon. Young was a returning Heisman trophy winner and yall still lost to 2 teams, one being a mediocre LSU team that got trashed by the two dominant teams from the SEC East division. This kid will have a less talented supporting cast around him than Young had on top of that. So, if I was a Tide fan, I wouldn't be getting too giddy about him, or any of your current QBs for that matter. The Tide has some problems and they're more than just replacing a QB.

Mr Milroe will you please get off the internet. Based on what I saw in his games last year he has all off season to look all world. Would be QB1 if we going to run a triple option but alas we dont.

LOL. If Jalen Milroe is the qb Alabama will lose at least 3 regular season games. Even the best OC in the nation would not sniff the playoffs with Milroe.

Milroe is like a Chicago street thug. He has the guns but chances are he will hit more bystanders than the person he aims for

Wait so the great Ty Simpson didn't replace him?

I'm confused. Why wouldn't Saban play the best option?

Ty Simpson is Jake Coker.. no offense but, I don't know what has Bama fans so giddy.

The last thing most of you want to see is Bama with a super athlete at QB.

Everyone wants to see Milroe at QB for Bama. Your best passer on the team right now is Ty Simpson. If Milroe is the starting QB for all 12 games, Bama will be 9-3 to 10-2 again next year if not worse. I don’t think Milroe is the starter by mid season.

He's an absolute threat to get to the endzone on any given play.. drop back or designed run, 10 yds or 90, it doesn't matter. Sub 4.3 with a cannon arm.. a much better passer than a lot of you tend to think..

Sounds like A Richardson from Florida. Good luck with that.

Your son needs to be a TE or RB, maybe a safety.

He's a hell of an athlete and football player. Nobody is saying he isn't that.

Jalen Milroe would need a revelation to even get to 2014 Blake Sims levels.

Milroe is simply not an major FBS quarterback.

Only way he’s dangerous is if he has a shootsgun in the trunk.

this is the key. If he can pass well he will be damn good. The other thing that is important though is ability to extend the play. This just seems to be a "trait" for QB's rather than a measured skill. Young and Tua were very good at it. Hurts wasnt shabby either but his passing eff dropped way off once he scrambled.
