Best place to park for game at Coleman? Taking son to UGA game and will be coming in hot from Bham. Any suggestions appreciated.

Coleman lot or across the street at Capstone parking deck. You should have little issues. You can park behind the frats, across from Arby’s, and take a UA shuttle to the game also.

Uber. Give a ZJ for fare.

The soccer lot is free and pretty painless. 5 minute ride on a free shuttle to Coleman.
edit: painless when you leave 5 minutes early because every game you've attended this season is a 30+ point blowout.

I park behind the frats and walk. Great warm up and cool down.

This may be a dumb question but can you not park at Coleman? That's where I've parked in the past and will also be at that game

The best place to park IMO is the Papa John’s shopping center across Hackberry.
The soccer lot and shuttle are great getting to the Coliseum, but after the game it takes forever to get back. The deck across from the Coliseum is same story. The Papa John’s shopping center has a lot of spots, is a 5-10 minute walk, and is easy to get in and out of (can take 15th to 359 or Hackberry/Hargrove to McFarland). Took me 1:20 from final buzzer of LSU game to my driveway in the Oak Mountain area.

Yep. We’ve parked there my entire life with no issues.

Is the law school lot a paid lot on gameday? I parked there early in the season with a low crowd and think I bypassed a closure to park there on accident.

Those lots are sold out, no parking passes left to buy. There may be season passes left for Capstone Surface next to the parking deck mentioned, Lots of good suggestions on this thread. Before I got enough TP points to get in Coleman’s B lot, I used to park on or off 13th street and enter from Coleman rear, but now lots of new apartments with restricted parking. If I were you, I would try the deck across from the baseball stadium first, then move north for a place, maybe the soccer fields.

IMO it's not worth it anyway.
Since they built the bridge, they've funneled a ton of traffic into one four-way intersection, and to me it's usually a pain to get caught up in that, coming or going.
We have a parking pass and haven't used it since last season — I actually think it's a more pleasant experience to park elsewhere and walk. And unless you're getting there really early, you're probably walking just about that far from some of those designated parking lots, because the closest spaces will almost certainly fill up.

I like a good walk too, and with no parking place for football, I park downtown and walk - and enjoy that walk. But in often cold and rainy winter, that B lot is closer than anything but the A lot right by Coleman. They have gotten better with the traffic this year, for one thing opening up an exit in the back of the B lot right on to 10th/ Paul Bryant.

damn I had no idea. The last time I was there for bball was during covid so I guess it wasn't really an issue. It didn't even occur to me that that lot might be pass only. Glad I saw this thread.
