Looking forward to seeing where A&M is after their big SEC start. They'll get moved way up this week.

They've still got some work to do but they've closed the gap significantly.

It's hard to overstate how awful their OOC was. No big wins and 2 horrid home losses. They had a lot to overcome, but they've almost done it entirely at this point.

Yup - it's the old saying that you can't win a game in the 1st quarter but you sure can lose it. Some teams are trying to fight back from losing it and others have set themselves up with some cushion.

I hadn't really thought much about Florida's chances on making the tourney but if they were to upset Kansas St they'd be right back in contention for a bid.

What's Kansas' best win?

I'd probably go

vs Iowa State
@ Missouri
vs Indiana
N vs Duke
N vs NC State

Really only 1 marquee win and then a handful of solid ones. No bad losses in terms of opponent strength (neutral vs Tennessee, @ KSU, @ Baylor, vs TCU).

Iowa St at home, Duke and NC St at neutral sites and @ Mizzou are all very good wins but they really don't one that really jumps out.

I think Kentucky has a good chance to beat Kansas on Saturday.

Was Kansas and the Big 12 a bit overrated about 3 weeks ago? Or are they just beating up on each other?

I know these brackets are just estimates with only regard to seeding, but the real committee wouldn't put 3 SEC teams in one region and have none in another.

That south bracket would be sweet as frick, though a tough elite eight matchup. But I'd love revenge against UCLA or to get some Tang.
