Honest question, why is your flagpole so unnecessarily gigantic? I took this photo in 2015 and have been perplexed ever since. I've been to dozens upon dozens of stadiums in my life from coast to coast and never seen something like it

There used to be a flagpole like that in a corner of BDS years ago and I got stuck behind it for an Arkansas game. I was damn near cross eyed after looking through /around the damn thing for the whole game.

It is like everything else was enlarged during the expansion of the Shoe. There was once some concern it might topple in a strong wind but I'm guessing that was addressed.
