I think last year got help from the hype. This year he either got just beat out or focused so much on HS kids that he missed the best options we had a shot at in the portal.
This year doesnt look to be any better with the bodies we are bringing in so far.

Or, one year kids dont want to play for a team that is losing to high school teams and giving up 4th and 32
Sucking that bad has consequences.
