I don't think we want anyone off Arkansas oline, though paradoxically I'd take their coach to recruit and coach ours

Arkansas’ OL performance tonight triggered some PTSD for me

so you want the OL coach that recruited and coached that OL?

He’s the head coach, it’s a little different. Pittman has a pretty solid record as an OL coach

But yeah that line is bad still

Starting to have my doubts, I'd need to go back and see what he did before uga. Starting to look like he was just a product of that machine. They certainly haven't missed a beat without him.

At the same time some guys are better coordinators position coaches than head men. Maybe if he only had to focus on the oline. Somebody mentioned it the other day but I've wondered for years if we ever pursued searles with any vigor. Would take him too

He really made his nut at Arkansas when he was an OL coach under Beliema when they had those dominant lines and running game. Took off from there. Do agree, UGA helped turn him into the recruiting juggernaut he became known for.

Not saying I’d take him, but he’d be a top tier OL coach still I’d guess, and would probably wind up at a place like Bama when he’s canned

Spencer Sanders is in the game as Dart is now injured. Ole Miss will be 8-2 after tonight. Their QB quality as the backup may not compare to ours.

In theory if Kiffin can continue calling the game similarly without forcing the offense to a screeching halt then whatever Sanders got in NIL was worth it.

I’d rather have Matt Luke….who’s been in Auburn a lot lately.

Ahhhhh, didn't realize you were talking about Pittman. I thought you were talking about their current OL coach.

I think our OL has improved tremendously over the last month plus. I think Thornton has done a hell of a job.

Hard to tell with the teams we've played. We haven't had a 3 game stretch against conference teams this bad maybe ever. Oline recruiting is still a major concern though

He was also the one that predicted Demarcus Riddick to Auburn before anyone.

Well, not everyone

Riddick, Williams, Thompson, Leonard and maybe Coleman

We are supposed to kick the shite out of teams like the last 3 we've played, ans we finally are again. I will take that as a step in the right direction. If we make a bowl after the roster overhaul this past offseason, that's another positive step. I trust Freeze will get OL like he is supposed to too.

Not going to convince anyone that OL recruiting is good. I do think they were selective, though. Carter is a great piece and if we land Favour Edwin, we’ll legitimately be getting him from teams like Clemson and Bama. But yeah, at the end of the day it’s a 4*, 3*, and a JUCO or two

We brought in like 10 guys last season though and I think only 2-3 are going to be leaving. And I thought they’ve come along nicely and have surprisingly been a bright spot

God forbid he enjoy a Saturday filled with landing 2 4* commits then beating the shite out of Arkansas
