…Relative to a normal SEC schedule. I don’t know why that’s difficult for any UGA fan to admit. It’s also not UGA’s fault that GT, FL, & AU are well down from their historical average, or that the SEC canceled Georgia’s trip to Norman. All 3 of those are top 25 programs all time, and UF & AU are easily top 15.

But to flip that around, is anybody in the West other than AL & LSU a threat to win 10 next year?

There is a lot of ok to pretty good in the league right now. UT, UGA, AL, & LSU are prob the top 4….whose the 5th best team in the league?

If college football started in 1990, sure.

Maybe South Carolina with Rattler and Wells returning.

Yep, it's weak. Not sure who is denying it. We had OU scheduled but had to scrap it due to their move to the SEC.

I'd prefer some better games next season, for the entertainment value as well as to test the team. I think the Missouri game this past season led to the OSU win, because the team knew how to deal with adversity. I'm not sure we've got a team that will do that to us next season, except for maybe TN.

One positive should be that we will be building that depth even more with getting legit playing time for our backups in several games.

What I take from that is we are going to 3-peat in a rebuilding year.

SC is a good candidate. Maybe Ole Miss if they get the QB right?

That one will make sure UGA doesn't get a win.

Don’t lump us in with Gators.

Total AP Top 25 Appearances BEFORE 1990:

#12 LSU- 300
#13 Tennessee- 297
#14 Auburn- 287
#15 Georgia- 258

#19 Florida- 196

Auburn was arguably a better football program prior to 1990 than Georgia.

So we were still top 20 before 1990.

Georgia has a ridiculously easy schedule and it should be an embarrassment to Smart and Georgia. They’ll sleep walk into the SECCG.

How will LSU do this coming season? I doubt LSU win the West division this year. The teams have since improved big time! I saw Alabama, Auburn, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, and Arkansas have made huge improvements in recruiting and coaches changes. Those that lost to LSU this past season will be out for revenge. Plus, Kelly has not been known to be able to keep winning against top teams every year.
