i'm an Auburn fan and i forget about Pat, think he beat Bama 2/3, out dueled Archie in the gator bowl, was just a great college athlete. i was 6 in his last year at Au but in my memory was always the best player on the field win or lose.

Personally, when you say all time, it takes more than 1 outstanding year so Burrow and cam are out on all time lists.
Then your personal opinion is wrong
Cam Newton was an unstoppable force of nature. I’ve never seen anything like it

Well first you need to ask yourself how many SEC teams have won a super bowl?

Let me at least address the recency bias list:
Joe Cool was a sharpshooter, leader, tactician, and unphasable.
Cam was a one-man magic show.
Tebow was discount Cam.
Manziel would have a better legacy had he screwed his head on straight or had any modicum of success as a pro.
I take Joe in a heartbeat, and I think his NFL career is going to back that up. Obviously I’m biased here but I think many would agree.

Burrow only had one good season, not on the list

A close 3rd behind Bo and Herschel. He is after all the only SEC back with 2000 yards and he is also the TD leader.

Well before you name a list of the 5 best QB’s in SEC history I think you should establish the criteria that you are using to come up with that list. Is it Wins, Rings, pure athletic ability, leadership? Which of those or other qualities are you using to make a list and then people can properly weigh in on the subject.

Based on pro careers:
1.Peyton Manning
2.Bart Starr
3.Fran Tarkenton
4.Joe Namath
5.YA Tittle
when the ultimate goal of the NFL is to win the Super Bowl.....you're missing a 2x Superbowl MVP in that list.

I am a UGA fan, and if Tebow is not no. 1 the list is trash.

It is baffling how much LSU messes with your head buddy.
