The way I see it is that Stetson probably is sort of a weird dude and has some passive aggressiveness towards UGA fans and even coaches but that’s probably the same energy that fuels him. I don’t know the guy personally - if he’s an a-hole then whatever, a lot of college athletes are. Glad he won us a couple of nattys.

Yep. Even a lot of athletes who put on a facade for the public are assholes when the cameras are off.

You’ve gotta be shitting me. He happened to be the QB during the golden age of Georgia Football. That doesn’t make him the goat. It makes him the guy who took the snaps.
Murray, Greene, Stafford and Zeier are the Georgia all time greats at QB.

We’re talking about a guy who none of these fans wanted. Nobody believed in him outside of that locker room. He doesn’t owe those t shirt fans a damn thing.
Stetson was the perfect case of right place right time. I’ll give him his due, he turned it up when it mattered. Dude was ice cold in last years Natty against Bama late in the fourth.

I am just trying to point out that no program is free from speculation, innuendos and yes....jerks. We all have them. For anybody to point fingers is pretty laughable. Quite often there are clear allegations and examples of some of our best players.

Also, no one outside of Georgia fans cares about Stetson’s sob walk on story. “Nobody believed in me and I’ve been doubted every year”. Yeah and people still won’t give a shite once you leave.

It’s more a reflection on how poorly Kirby manages QBs than a feel good underdog story.

Just a lot of envy out there - Stet isn’t a corporate bullshiter like most quarterbacks versed in PR - and most coaches.
He said what was on his mind. There were plenty of non-believers out there inside and outside the UGA fanbase - and coaching staff.
Would I have said what he said at the Parade and celebration? No
But Stetson can go out any way he wants - he deserves that.

It’s not envy. It’s some sort of validation from him that people need to praise him because he has this underdog story that he wants everyone to recognize.
