Thanks to WG Dawg on the Georgia board for letting me use this:
Alabama is #1 in pretty much every metric so I left them out. After another remarkable season we have shot up the list among the other 5 of the "Big 6" as shown below.
Recognized National Titles
UGA/LSU - 4
Florida - 3
Tennessee - 2/3ish
Auburn- 2
SEC Titles
UGA - 14
UT - 13
LSU - 12
UF/AU - 8

AU- 793
UF - 754

AU - 9
Overall Win Percentage
UT - 67%
UGA - 66%
LSU - 65%
UF - 63%
AU - 63%
For pretty much the entire history of the SEC UT was the #2 program, and often times there wasn't even a discussion. After going now nearly 20 years of being "down" that is no longer the case IMO. And for a while LSU had done enough to really throw their name in the ring as being the overtaker. Between us, LSU, and UT each program led the others in some category or another. Each one could make a reasonable claim for the spot. But after hte last 2 years, I don't think there are any arguments left. I fully believe that historically UGA is now clearly and without equal the 2nd best SEC program of all time. We hold the #2 spot in SEC titles, all time wins, bowl games, and bowl wins. The only areas we lack in are overall weeks ranked (a measly 4 weeks behind LSU) and weeks ranked at #1. Although in the last 2 seasons we have made an exponential jump in that category and will likely overtake LSU and UF both mideay through next year.

Georgia fans are so obsessed with UT.

With the back to back, it just means it's going to be another 82 years.

If UGA has 4 then why does UT only have 2 or 3?

I'm not arguing that UGA hasn't passed UT all-time now FWIW.

Bc I'm applying the same standard to them people apply to us. We could claim 27, 46, and 68 if we wanted to bring us to 7 total but we don't. Some of Tennessee claims are questionable at very best.

I agree. Should either be 3 for UGA and 2 for UT or 6 for UT and 8 for UGA.

B/c we actually have 4 legit titles ('42, '80, '21 & '22)

Heisman's?
Clearly the order now is:
Alabama
Georgia
LSU
Tennessee
Florida
Auburn

You could say that about any program though (having questionable claims).
Well maybe not us, that's one advantage of sucking until recently.

Pretty interesting stuff there, Georgia can pass LSU on a few stats next season. I imagine either them or Michigan will enter the season at one, so it’ll likely be early on that they can pass in terms of the AP number one position.

And the Vols claim 6.

Why wouldn't Heismans count? If mythical title claims do.

Right...and we can claim a lot more than 4. That's the point, some of the extremely dubious years for us we don't recognize while ut does. I'm not gonna recognize them as champs for just winning the dunkleman index

What the hell does “2/3ish” mean? Either it’s recognized or it’s not.
And no one but Georgia fans recognizes your 1942 title. LSU has 4. UGA and UF have 3. AU and UT have 2.

So Georgia fans are trying to trick us? Back to number 3, behind LSU.

FWIW, I'm not saying UGA's 1942 claim is bad or anything. Anything is fair game IMO if it happened before the BCS.

Yeah, I figured we'd be last or only ahead of Auburn at best. We did go like 12 years straight without dropping out of the AP poll.
