Kirby was already DC at Bama so why take DC at Georgia? He knew he would get the HC offer in a few years.

That's right. Now, how is this any different?

It isn't, unless you want to sweat the small shite, which I'm sure we could do with Kirby as well.

I don't know if Schumann would go. I'm just making an argument against. Bama fans are the ones that believe that it would be cut and dry.

It wouldn't be.

There are enough reasons for why he wouldn't go to make a very good argument against.

People forget that Dan Lanning was “Co-DC” alongside Schu. AD’s don’t give a shite about the “Co” prefix, it’s Schu’s defense and he makes the calls, that’s what they care about. Unless Kirby sits him down and says “my heart ain’t in this for much longer and I want you to be my replacement”, Schu likely gets a P5 HC offer in the next 2-3 years if he sticks around. If he jumps to Bama that timeline might stay the same, might not, change can lead to uncertainty.

If it was cut and dry, it would have already happened.

Think he will fill the secondary/ILB opening, not DC.

He is an ILB coach and that's what Golding coached. Good sign if he fills that role since that's Schuman's position.
