Thanks for the heads up, but we know elite defense when we see it. We've seen it with Smart/Pruitt, it wasn't there with Pete.

He's not a bad coach, and he'll be fine with you guys, but we know what a problem looks like. And the last 4 years were a problem that never corrected.

Just remember, It wasn’t Pete Golding that Freeze and manziel were cooking 6-7 years ago. Now you’ve got six offenses like that on your schedule every year.

This. People keep bringing up how we lost 2 games on the final play but keep forgetting all of the busted plays, missed tackles, bad schemes that helped put us into those positions.

Alabama fans are the worst. Gonna be glorious when Saban retires and they aren’t in contention every year. Domestic violence in Alabama trailer parks is going to skyrocket exponentially.

Golding was not the problem at Bama. Simply put, the players did not perform on the field. Coaching was fine. The on-field problems were the player’s responsibility. They did not execute thus they struggled in some games. Not all games but some.
And yet still Bama was 11-2. Hardly a failure of a season.
