Seeing new reports today he is gaining interest from the NFL again. Would REALLY suck if we lost him

I took that to be a joke.
That said, I have to believe that while Kirby must have a post-Monken game plan, there's no reason not to back up the Brinks truck to Todd's house. We can work on Plan B for another year.
