In the following 10 seasons, they won 3 National Championships, which is an incredible accomplishment. However, thinking back to that night in Miami, it felt like they'd win 6 or 7 in the next decade. They probably would've if Kirby hadn't gone to Georgia and started taking a lot of the elite players that bama used to have a monopoly over.

Maybe. These titles by UGA have to be the most unimpressive in CFB history. They didn’t even win the SEC the first time around.

Kirby ran that program. Now we are seeing that.

Since saban won his first title in 03 urban won 2, Dabo snuck 2 in 3 years and now has back to back. Just winning two puts you in a class by yourself only Tom osbourne and nick saban have won more than two in my lifetime. Winning two titles isnt an act of lucky Kirby has proven he’s an elite coach but he sure has had a nice path the past two years especially that 21team you played a good Clem team a close game, humiliated a bunch of average teams, lost to great bama team, took a mulligan, beat a great bama team and got a title. Also overrated Michigan was there. I’ll wait and see before I say the torch has been passed

If somebody other than Clemson stole 2 elite QBs right out from under Richt and Kirby Alabama would have won 5 more instead of 3 more.

shite happens.
