Per Scott Van Pelt. Amazing….not just in title game history…bowl game history. Crazy!

And it very well could have been worse.

I can say with a straight face that the game was not as close as the score.

I've never seen such dominance

TCU didn't belong on that field at all.

We were one blown coverage away from 65-0

It proves the game is as much about emotion and motivation as it is about talent.

Michigan beats O State

OState took us to the wire.

TCU beat Michigan…a P5 team

We destroy TCU.

Talent plays a huge part but motivation and focus win the day.

This is why the transitive property often doesn't apply to football games.
Teams match up differently.
Michigan matched up well with OSU and took advantage of a suspect OSU secondary which opened up the Wolverine running game.
OSU matched up well with Georgia for pretty much the same reason and our offensive gameplan didn't work against a talented OSU defense for 3 quarters.
TCU speed beat Michigan. They had a great defensive game plan and got up early on Michigan and held on for the win.
TCU does not match up well with Georgia and Monken came up with the best most innovative offensive game plan of the season. Basically it was a Dawg fan's dream with and excellent variety of plays out of multiple formations. We often passed when they expected us to run which in turn opened up our running game. Bennett had the best performance of his career in the NCG.

Our defensive game plan was equally brilliant other than the one blown coverage. We disguised our blitzes well and dropped back into coverage when they expected a blitz.

It was a thing of beauty to watch.

I think if we played Michigan that score wouldn't have been much different.

The boys were on one last night.
