How the frick did he leave Arkansas in shambles?
We were coming off the best season in my lifetime, a top 5 finish, and a 21-5 record in the past two seasons. Three of those losses were teams who played in the national championship. We’ve had nowhere near that success in a decade.
We fired a coach for some pussy and then morons on here are blaming him for “Smile”, Bert, Hammer Down, and ah shucks.
You’re a fricking idiot if you think otherwise.

Some coaches are great fits at certain universities.
Terrible fits at others.
Petrino was a perfect fit in Fayetteville.
Done what most coaches do at some point.
Got caught due to the wreck.
Should have apologized, been straight up having the tall blond with him.

When the head coach hires then fricks a 25 yr old engaged subordinate over the course of months during the season, gives this mistress/employee over $20K in gifts, and then covers up a motorcycle wreck in which she was a passenger, forcing the AD to fire him, allegedly getting his arse kicked by the team employed fiancé of the subordinate mistress, and making the entire athletic department a national laughing stock is the VERY definition of leaving a program in shambles. It also very far from your claim of "some pussy". Its not the act that gets you, its the attempted cover up.
And after all of that, you show up to a press conference looking THIS? There is no ONE or no PROGRAM coming back from all of that shite in a timely manner.
