Just trading what used to be an awesome regular season for a better playoffs. I remember when every game of 12 was high stakes and pressure packed. Those were good times.

4 teams was never enough teams. Alabama and Tenn both deserved to be in this year. When we get 12 teams, it will fully cover all the teams that need to be there; AND expose weak teams with cupcake schedule that just so happen to have a good record.

More regular season games now matter for more teams with 12 slots available.

I just disagree. I think with more to play for , the regular season will be more exciting.
