I pretty much agree with your assessment.

Of course you do, and every time Georgia has proven you wrong this season you have gone into hiding.

quote:

Our pass defense will likely be exposed because we haven't been able to get enough pressure on good QB's without blitzing which leaves openings over the middle.

We have had a boatload of pressures this season. Getting a QB off of his spot is a lot of times as good or better than a sack.

We scored 50 vs LSU and will probably have to score at least that again to win

You really think our defense is giving up 50? GTFOH!

I don't know. If we weren't missing our best receiver and running back, maybe. We'll see what Day can do with this much time to prepare, but I'm not exactly overflowing with confidence after what he put together in his last game.

brutal B10 East

Lol

I'm NOT joking here. If the Elephants were in the B10 East Division, they would lose 2 of 3 between o$u, PussyCat St., and Michigan...as would the Pug Dogs.

The sec people laugh and claim they are superior to the B10, but they get the luxury of side-stepping the Big Ten! Ga and their fans are worried about this Tournament, trust me. They have temporarily joined the B10 East Division now, and it's a b!tch! No more free-loading in the watered-down sec.

Bama fans are talking smack because they don't have to play o$u & Michigan & Penn St. this year...stay in the sec, enjoy your kansas state Mildcat game, and let the big boys keep playing in the B10 East Division Tournament this year!

Good year for the Elephants to miss the Playoffs, is it not? Truth be told, Penn St. should have been in over any 2 loss sec teams, too...hell, many think they should have been in over the Horny Toads! Ask your boys down the road in Auburn about Penn State...the Pussycats had a brutal schedule, yet were dismissed because of sec "bias". Bama's 2 losses were to creampuffs, yet PSU lost only to o$u and Michigan! I call BS on Penn State's ranking...they are easily Top 5.

Stroud will hit some throws and put up at least 28-32 points — but it’s very hard to see Ohio State dropping 40 on y’all with 0 run game tho.

UGA has a very good offense and will score against Ohio State. I think they can hang 35+ if they show up to play. I don’t see Ohio State putting 35+ on y’all with 0 run game. Sure, they’re going to hit big pass plays. But you really believe they can say hut and do a 5 step drop back for 4 quarters against your front 7? I don’t think they can with no threat of a run game. If they can run the ball though it’s a completely different story.

The SEC ppl laugh bc in the last 15 years the SEC has dominated the Big10 in major bowl games and the playoffs you fricking joke. Outside of Ohio State beating Bama in 2014 the SEC has literally taken the Big10 to the woodshed in every major bowl game.

So please STFU until you actually win a national championship in the last 20 years lmao.

If its so brutal than why has no one won a championship in the last 5 years from the Big10?

OSU is the only team to even win a championship from that piece of shite conference in the last 20 years. The SEC has 5 teams including fricking Auburn lmao. Go back to the kids table Michigan. We will call you up when you actually win a natty lol

The long standing tradition of Nega - Dawging, or Munsoning, if you prefer that term, died on January 9th, 2022. frick all that noise. Won’t be a cake walk but Dawgs win and cover, book it, and frick all that ejinz nonsense.

I’ve told people to temper their expectations on this team all year.

And at this point last year they were a 12-1, 3rd seed, SECCG loser. Now they’re 13-0, 1st seed, SECCG winner. Seems like they’re doing better

Georgia is going to dump truck OSU, they’re a good team but they’re all finesse and crumble the moment they face a team with decent physicality, which Georgia has in spades

Georgia will probably beat us in the championship game too, but hopefully it’s a better matchup than last year

No way Ga beats o$u and then Michigan for the Natty, no freaking way. The good news for the Pugs, though, is that you mutts get to return to your sec pillow fighting next season...meantime, my beloved Wolverines are stuck in the brutal B10 East playing football every fukking year!!!

I know, it’s so unfair. It’s clearly why Big 10 teams get trashed by SEC teams in major bowls and championship games. I’m super relieved that Georgia doesn’t have to face Indiana, Maryland and Rutgers year in and year out. And what if you draw Illinois or Northwestern out of the B1G West? The horror.

OSU and Michigan are both good teams capable of winning the NC this year but get outta here with that nonsense.

Kindly cite the posts I have made picking us to lose?
I have picked Georgia to win every game this season including the SECCG.

Pressures are good but sacks are better and we rank 71st nationally in sacks. Sacks

LSU scored 30 on us and OSU has a much better offense. I hope not but this game could become a shootout if our pass defense is exposed.

Have a great New Year's Eve.

Gooooooo Dawgs!! Class of '75

I know this is an SEC board so of course I expect you guys to ride for your conference but that’s rich considering the Big Ten is currently 3-0 in bowls and you guys are 1-3 getting gaped by some real powerhouses like *Texas Tech* and *Oregon State*

Regardless the whole SEC thing is funny to most of us up here — this obvious retarded troll above notwithstanding — I don’t really feel any affinity towards the other schools in the Big Ten, couldnt really give a shite if they win or lose. In fact, a lot of us hate the other teams in our conference and want them to lose

It’s always seemed to me that you guys get around by rooting for Bama (or Georgia now) and claiming that since Bama was so good (true) that thus the SEC is just so much better, but that really never seemed true to me, idk. I don’t think, take this year, that LSU or Tennessee is really towering above, say, Penn State. I also don’t think whatever mid teams you have like Ole Miss or Auburn whoever are really better than Illinois or Purdue or Maryland etc.

That’s just an outsider perspective though, I wouldn’t expect you guys to agree. I still think overall the SEC is probably better but not by as much as you guys like to play up — and again I still think Georgia is the best team in the country etc

Sacks are dependent on the QB and OC.
If the offense is determined to get the ball out quickly, sacks are impossible. And a QB pressure is more than sufficient.
See UGA vs Oregon, Samford, South Carolina (9), Auburn.

If the offense is going to attempt to drive the ball downfield, attempt multiple reads, or the QB is afraid to throw the football into traffic, then sacks are on the table.
See Hendon Hooker, Anthony Richardson, Kent St, and Jeff Simms.

We have 217 QB hurries on the season. Mykel Williams leads the team with 27. Pop leads non DL with 21.
We are more than fine with our sack totals if the QB is going to scramble off the snap (Bo Nix) or go into a full backpedal off the shot gun snap (Spencer rattler)

There's no way UGA can lose to Ohio State in Atlanta.
