Jimbo was in his fifth season and had the fourth most talent in the country. 9-3 would've been considered a disappointment at the beginning of the season.
Instead they went 5-7, had a meh recruiting class, over 30% of their roster is in the transfer portal, and no one will take their OC position.
Beating LSU in the first year of a rebuild was the only bright spot they've had in a year.

It's sad that this is the way A&M acts towards programs who give them pity wins. But we have to remember that charity is given for its own sake.
