No man. It's not important. It's just enabling underprivileged young people a chance to get an education and improve their station in life for themselves and future children.
It's just teaching people to work together in a group against adversity.
Not important.

Well I'm former Army and sports are important IMO. It's not important who wins and loses, it's important to serve as an escape from a lot of the crap we have to deal with in this world.
Sports are a huge deal to thousands of deployed Soldiers, Marines, Airmen, and Sailors who rely upon it as a connection to home.
