Tier 2 ( no order)
UGA
LSU
Auburn
UF
Tennessee

Tier 3
Arkansas
Ole Miss

Tier 4
Miss State
Mizzou

Tier 1
Bama

Tier 2 ( no order)
UGA
LSU
Florida

Tier 3
Auburn
Tennessee

Edit-- Georgia was in Tier 3 until the last couple of years. Auburn is close to slipping a notch. Maybe they have. Tennessee could move to Tier 2 with some work.

Missouri was very good in the 60’s and into the 70’s but Jesus frick did we drop the ball after that till the early 00’s.

Very pivotal time in college football and we were arse and that is why we are where we are today trying to swim up water.

Nice list. That being said, UF never won a conference title until 1990, therefore, they should be relegated to tier 3. I'd also move Ole Miss up to tier 3.

You have to acknowledge the UF presence in the SECCG and natties. That’s what pushed them up in my list. No problem moving Ole Miss up. Georgia has won SEC a lot historically too.

This isn't a troll, but there has to be a boat load of talent in the St. Louis area. Do they just go elsewhere more often than not?

I always thought us and Arky were the most even in these "tier" rankings. Hard to argue with our placement since we fell into the abyss after the 60s with a breakout year here and there since

I know this is a shot at Aggie, but what would possibly make you think MSU is a tier above SC or UK.

Arkansas football was good from the 60s to the 80s. Then Ken Hatfield left and has been garbage since. No stability at all from that point on with no understandable expectations of what they really want.

Sorry I undervalued SC. Clearly a tier up.

Arkansas is in that same abyss but just started a few decades later.

Funny thing, if LSU had beaten UGA in the SECCG, LSU, UGA and UT would all be tied with 13 championships each. As it stands, UGA has moved ahead with 14, while LSU stays with 12.

6-5, 6-7, 5-7 record the last three seasons.
That's slipping.

All-Time SEC Championships By School
Alabama – 29
Georgia – 14
Tennessee – 13
LSU – 12
Florida – 8
Auburn – 8
Ole Miss – 6
Kentucky – 2
Mississippi State – 1

After consideration, I’ll move Kentucky out of tier 5. Also apologies to Ole Miss. clearly tier 3. Adjusted tiers above l
