Buy Georgia
Sell Alabama

Kirby’s personality is better equipped for making players want to stick around. As evidenced by their stockpile of 5 stars willing to ride the pine and not pursue transferring. They’re better equipped to excel in the transfer portal NIL era.

Saban meanwhile has players transferring left and right. (Thanks for Drew Sanders btw) His personality isn’t exactly conducive to keeping players that have other friendlier options.

In conclusion: Georgia is the new Alabama and will have multiple natty’s in the 2020’s

I think Saban is on the downslope.

He seems tired and worn out, little to no fire anymore.

And 2023 is likely to be another "rebuilding year."

He loses a lot of talent and could be breaking in two new coordinators.

Buy both. Both will win 2+ NCs over the next 10 years.

Even if Saban left, you think Alabama is gonna make the same mistake they did last time and try and hire some home cooked schmuck the university likes cause they’ve worn the crimson and white before?

No. Whoever takes over Alabama again is basically guaranteed at least 1 championship at the time of leaving even if Saban’s final season is something along the lines of a 7-5/8-4.

Saban’s worst seasons are always due to either coordinators or team chemistry being off and it biting them in the post season. Alabama can pretty much survive the entire regular season on talent and Nick’s dictatorship alone with the occasional crack in the foundation here and there.

Saban isn't going to be at Bama in 10 years, so I definitely wouldn't buy them where they're at. I don't see them competing for a natty anymore.

If Georgia we a stock, you'd be pretty stupid to buy now because they're on top. You won't get any ROI because they're not going to fet better. They may stay around the top of college football for most of the next decade, but they won't win 10 natty.

It would be too easy for me to buy LSU, so leaving them put, if I had to buy right now, I'm buying South Carolina. I love Beamer, and they're still low enough that I should be able to get a good ROI.

Assuming Kirby stays at UGA and doesn’t try the NFL then yes buying UGA stock would be a good investment.

Although the expanded playoff, portal, and unlimited NIL will make it harder to win Nattys going forward. If Conference Championship games are kept then the expanded playoffs adds 1 more game the current top 4 teams will have to play. Thus more chance for upsets through players getting injured.

Bama will buy Kirby off of you.

We will all laugh.

You’ll be back in the shitter where you belong.

Maybe Jimbo will be free by then.

Calm down. LSUs trophy case should have a Bama appreciation section because you never had to play them in an actual championship game…

Oh wait -Except for that one time….

It’s like people still don’t know Kirby played at Georgia. He has no reason to go to bama. He’s already made enough money at Georgia that his grand children won’t have to work.

The problem is what coach will want to follow Sabans legacy? Go 9-3 or 10-2 first couple years and you’re already on the hot seat.

If Bama can’t poach a proven guy like Dabo they will have a tough time

It will be interesting to watch.

Saban's strength was getting the boosters to pull in the same direction again and fire up that "recruiting" machine.

NIL now allows that openly for every program. It will be interesting to see if Tuscaloosa is just that easy to recruit to or if losing certain advantages levels things out a bit.
