He is not the best player in college football but it’s close. He is very good.

Nobody hates him. He's a good QB on a great team. Georgia fans perceive any comment other than "he's the best!" as "hate" or "disrespect"

Duggan is the most deserving but won't win because the B12 is barely a P5 and he's playing at TCU
If you watched them this season, you know he's the spark that kept them alive. If you watched them last weekend, you know he's damn near Tebow incarnate

Most fans think he is surrounded by an immense amount of talent and its the only reason for his success. He has 2 freak TE's. There's a committee of RB's and his Oline is absolutely HUGE! No need to even mention his defense. If you take every QB currently considered in the top 10, they would likely have better numbers than SB at UGA.
Not a single draft scout has him in their top 10 QB rankings. Matter of fact, look at the all QB's in the heisman race and look at their draft projections. Who is the lowest projected QB?
If SB had average TE's and mediocre RB's, he wouldn't elevate UGA enough to get them to a playoff. He's not able to pit them on his shoulders and making average players around him look better. Its not who he is.

People who don’t like him can make up a bunch of excuses, but it’s primarily because he’s super white with a super white elite sounding name. Maybe it’s in their subconscious, or maybe they directly are aware of it, but that’s why some people don’t like him, and that is a shame.
