Just listened to most of the Hugh Freeze introductory press conference. Dude is a stone cold sociopath. How anybody can buy his phony Baptist preacher act and not vomit instead is beyond me. Congrats Auburn!
We really need to set up an intervention somehow to get Kirby to drop a few lbs and get heart smart. I want him there for the long haul. Couldnt imagine having to watch a vacuum cleaner salesman like Freeze come in and be the head coach at Georgia. Yikes.

It is pretty unbelievable, and he is without a doubt a sociopath. If I were Ole Miss, I would find some way to fight this. Its just like a player being kicked off a team for wrongdoing, just to get added to another school in the same conference. The only punishment is to the school that did the right thing.
Hugh Freeze is a hooker banging, beaver faced piece of trash, and he fits right in with the Auburn trashy existence.

After the whole Cam Newton debacle Auburn definitely holds the crown for the sleeziest program in the SEC.

Were it not for the sketchiness, I would say yes, not a bad hire. Better than Brian Harsin. But in reality land, there is the sketchiness, and the hypocrisy in the fact the boosters manufactured the Harsin-Clesi scandal where nothing was ever proven or admitted, then turn around and hire a known, proven, admitted scumbag who did everything they accused Harsin of, and much much more.
Auburn is now officially the lowest P5 team in football right now.

The fact Auburn decided he can’t be trusted to have social media but still needs to lead the program tells you all you need to know about Auburn. That’ll make for some fun living room conversations with parents for the coaches on visits.
Personally though I like it, Kirby used to seem to have an extra edge against Gus from his days at Alabama and I’m hoping it’s the same with Freeze. Great to have a hateable coach back there.

yah, what a sociopath. I wonder what line of bull he gave them when they asked him about the hookers and if he was truly a redeemed man? Seems to be a match made in heaven with Auburn's track record. Freeze isn't in the back country of Virginia anymore so he better watch his step. I'm sure there will be teams of investigative reporters stationed in Auburn now tracking his every move. Kind of like when Harrick came to UGA. I can't remember that ESPN reporter that was following him around. I think originally some yahoo sports reporter dug up the WU receipt. Still Freeze is at probably the best institution for covering up improprieties. And the guy is a good football coach.

Wasn’t there a recent story where he direct messaged a female accusing a Liberty player of sexual assault and Freeze said there’s no way he could’ve done that because “he’s a man of god”. Can’t remember what podcast I heard that from but I think it was that idiot Chris Marler. He said that hundreds of Auburn alumns sent emails to Auburn AD and president discouraging this hire. But I guess they didn’t listen. It’s going to be great to watch Kirby skull drag him for years to come

I think the woman was talking about the Liberty AD who had been the Baylor AD when the Art Briles scandal broke. That was who Freeze made the “he’s a man of god” comment about. Someone will correct me if I am wrong.

Auburn is a very desperate program with UGA and bama as their main rivals. They feel they have to do somehting drastic to right the ship. I'm all for 2nd chances, but in the professional world, you have to act certain way. Freeze has been a big time scumbag. Mama's with convictions will not allow their son to play for him.
