How far would Georgia’s ranking fall if they lose to LSU in the Seccg?

They would be #5 respectively. Would the committee consider moving Alabama to #4 if so?

LSU is terrible so hypothetically out of the top 6
But also, lsu is terrible so it’s not happening

No I think max they go to 3 or 4.

I believe that Bama would have a pretty solid argument on why they should get in even though they are a 2 loss team. Georgia’s ranking would fall the 5 or 6 respectively. The Sec east is pretty soft in general and when considering Georgias SOS their record is not all that impressive.

Tennessee fell to 5 that’s all I know
I don’t think Bama would jump them but anything’s possible

If Georgia loses, Tennessee would also be back in the Mix because Tennessee beat Lsu.

Hard to see them falling below 4. Not that they would deserve it, but there's just not another team to realistically put ahead of them

Whats the value of a quality win/loss in the eyes of the committee. Georgia may still be #1 If they lose the SECCg.

SEC Wests 2 best teams lost to a Tennessee. There's nothing to suggest the west is better than the East this year. Bama's best win is a 4 loss Ole Miss team

UGA will be the highest 1 loss team., and ahead of any two loss team.

We also beat the team that beat the shite out of you in your own stadium.

Tennessee fell behind alll undefeated teams and ahead of all other 1 loss teams. UGA would fall behind all undefeated teams and ahead of every 1 loss team. Other than potentially USC. They’d be the 3 or 4 seed.

East went 9-7 against the West

And the top of the East isn't represented by a team with 3 losses. The bEAST carried the SEC this year and only one team from the SEC is getting in and it ain't Bama. Win or lose

3 or 4, so long as they don't get blown out.
