Liberty Bowl?

So the expected outcome after the weekend plays out is that at least 3 bowls won't have enough teams with 6-6 or better records to fill all the bowls.
The Liberty Bowl is one of those. If that is true some thing Auburn vs. Baylor in the Liberty. Would you want to go as a fan?
My personal opinion is go if the players want to go, if, and only if we don't have 15 starters that opt out. Obviously 3rd round or above draft prospects I would expect to sit out. So their choice.
If the players are leaning going, do you want the new coach to coach the bowl. I would love the new coach to have however many practices to start installing his offenses and defenses kind of like and extra spring. That would provide the head coach the opportunity to do a lot of evaluating.
If the new coach doesn't want to coach the bowl and the players are wishy washy I would turn it down and focus all energy on evaluation and recruiting.

Can anyone prove that extra bowl practices actually make a difference to a team’s performance?
Seems like a commonly held view that might not be true

Hell no. I’ll happily watch on TV though.

I would go with whatever kids want to go. I would let the new coach choose how to handle the situation but like the idea of him at least being around, however he will have a lot of building to do between now and then with the new staff, signing day, portal, and relationships with current players.

Depending on the bowl. Liberty Bowl is tempting, since I know several people that live there that may go with me.
Is it useful? Extra practice only helps if the players get to use it. Meaning, get the second and third stringers in there to get greater game experience.
For Auburn in particular, a bowl game and the practices should be a good opportunity for the new coach to learn his players and, maybe, get those late round draftee 'want-to-be' to stay for him. For instance, Tank gets to experience a different system where he might improve his draft stock in 2024. Plus seeing better recruiting, because new coach is head and shoulders above his predecessor.

Nope. Watch our future ex coach lose to the worst Auburn team in years?

Extra practice is always helpful. Bowl games are for the kids. It always a nice trip and they earned that. New head coach should be there. That time is great for him to see players and coaches to find out which ones he wants. I would love to see if the new coach is Kiffin or Freeze to tell Caddy he is the head coach for the bowl and they will be the OC and call plays if they have time to fell good about doing that. Thanks Caddy for a great job!!

I would go and support the team. Memphis is only a 5 hour drive from my home.

We got robbed out of the first part of the season because of Mr. Potato Head, so of course I’d like the season to continue.
