In 2011 as LSU and UGA prepared to play, Saban was invited on game day as a guest host to politick for tRematch of the century. When previewing the game that day he had a faux pas (or as Les Miles would say, a “fupa”) where he referred to LSU as “we”

Look, it’s really not a big deal. Sabes was clearly living his best life at LSU. He was young and having fun building a monster. He was also at his peak handsomeness at LSU. (Remember: it isn’t gay to admit Nick at LSU was a handsome fellow)

Saban still considers himself an LSU Tiger. He even said his biggest regret is leaving LSU.

I never realized Nick Saban was Bob Weir's brother.

Did he wear his pants up to his navel in his early 50s? Why do old men do this? I thought it was only very old men, not moderately old men too...

He said we when commenting on Oregon when Auburn played them in the BCS. No doubt who he was rooting for.

Because that's how men's pants were cut. Hip-huggers were for women.

Same for footies. That's why old men wear crew socks, footies are for girls.

Then he would have came back. It’s basically like a divorce where both the exs still get along, and the new marriage is going amazing.

Saban is definitely fond of the time he spent at LSU and still maintains great relationships with plenty of people at LSU. He didn’t go to Alabama to spite LSU. It was the job open when he wanted to return to college.

I do appreciate that he has been a part of several videos pertaining to LSU football, namely our “Old War Skule” anthology that came out in 2011. Hope he comes back when his 2003 team is honored again.
